A Little Bit About Me...

While attending Brown University, I volunteered as a tutor at Providence Summerbridge, an enrichment program for inner-city middle school students. I realized that teaching was my passion and became a full-time ESL teacher at an elementary school in Washington, DC while earning masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from American University. During the past three years I have been the 5th grade reading teacher at a school, which is part of the highest performing school system in DC.
