For the last eight (8) years I have been tutoring ages kindergarten- third grade. I took courses in psychology and children. I have a J.D. Degree, Masters Degree and Bachelor of Arts Degree. A diverse education at Wesleyan University has prepared me to tutor many high school subjects. I earned my BA at Wesleyan in Music but I almost double majored in Environmental Science. The high expectations of professors at Wesleyan pushed me to greatly improve my writing ability, with my music thesis earning me honors in music. Environmental sciences sharpened my science and mathematic ability. Extensive courses in music prepared me to tutor music students in any background or concentration.

A Little Bit About Me...

When I taught sailing to young kids, I used to dress up like a pirate. I have lots of energy. I know I'm doing my job right when kids start laughing. When I taught to teenagers, I kept in mind my own experiences at that age. If I'm helping a student study hard on that big, important test that might have the ability to crush the student's soul - I bust out my acoustic guitar and sing about how It's The End of The World As We Know It (And This Test Means Very Little In The Long Run).
