A Little Bit About Me...

I have been in a school environment as my favorite pass time was to spend with children. Math is my favorite course. I helped students achieve good grip on calculations and solving problems. In Short- Teaching kids gives me peace and satisfaction in life.
Math is fun. Teaching math is more fun. I love playing with numbers and helping children also play with numbers and solve problems in the most easiest manner. I really wonder why does the clock move fast when I am in a math class.

I taught school for four (4) years to ages kindergarten - seventh grade. I also tutored inner city children ages 5-12 for two (2) years. For the last eight (8) years I have been tutoring ages kindergarten- third grade. I took courses in psychology and children. I have a J.D. Degree, Masters Degree and Bachelor of Arts Degree. I studied foreign language and assited with children in math, reading, art, hebrew, bible study and reading. I am proficient in German and French.
I enjoy teaching children, students of all ages and those willing to learn. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated cum laude from the University of Rhode Island with two Bachelors of Science in Marine Geology and Maritime Law. I teach sailing and environmental education in the summers. This means very little however as I aspire, one day, to become a lighthouse keeper. Sadly, few can find such a position these days. I enjoy writing, science, mathematics, literature and most all music.
When I taught sailing to young kids, I used to dress up like a pirate. I have lots of energy. I know I'm doing my job right when kids start laughing. Education in my life has been my number one motivating factor for success. Throughout my educational career I have always been organized and a group leader when it came to helping my fellow students with projects/homework/studying, etc. For many years I tutored individuals in English, Math, Social Studies/History, German, Psychology and Arts.
