I have also owned and operated a daycare in my home for over three years. Currently have have spent the past two years as a substitute teacher for the Buffalo, MN school district. I understand that each student is an individual, and I like to get to know him/her as a person. The more I am able to connect with the student, the more successful we will be in achieving academic success! My teaching style is adaptable to the student. Some students need help focusing, extra practice, a boost in confidence or the subject explained in a different way for comprehension. The beauty of tutoring is you are able tailor the material and style to the individual learning ability of the student, unlike in the classroom where you must serve the entire group.
