I've been told I have a great capacity for making complex ideas more understandable. This is why students seeking Math help at my University would ask for me specifically, I can take a complicated concept and explain it in a way that makes it seem much simpler, and when one approach doesn't work, I go again from a different direction. Being overwhelmed with information that is just not making sense can be frustrating and most teachers don't have the time to give individual attention to each student. A Little Bit About Me...

I have received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in English. I have worked for several years as an electrical engineer. One of my responsibilities as an engineer was to train recent college graduates. I wrote and taught new employees the basics of engineering. I would assist them on their first few projects.
I like teaching by doing. I believe it helps the student when they can see what they are learning put into use. A Little Bit About Me...

While attending and completing four years of Education courses at a well respected institution I was focused and driven to complete the curriculum and focus on creative lesson planning. Maintaining a GPA of 3.6 in Education courses while participating in four years of collegiate sports really polished my ability to multi-task. The preparation and focus applied in college paired with an immense interest in History has molded me into a life learner as well as teacher.
