Drama is one of my top subjects! I earned a BA in Theater and Dance from Trinity College and have been performing and studying drama since I was a kid.

I have been performing since I was a kid. I started taking singing lessons from a Julliard graduate when I was twelve and have taken classes and workshops with Broadway performers and other industry experts. I have studied acting, play writing, and directing. I earned a BA in Theater and Dance from Trinity College and studied with artists-in-residence at the La Mama Theatre in NYC.
My teaching style changes depending on the student. One style does not fit all. I like to get to know my students as people and thoroughly understand their learning styles, wants and need. Communication and patience are key.

Italian tutor for all!

I have tutored many different kids and a few adults in english and italian, always with great success. i have also worked as a nanny and babysitter, which has trained me to be a very patient teacher and quickly understand students different ways of learning and comprehension. i enjoy helping others become more confident with a new language!
every student is different; as far as languages are concerned i believe people benefit more from actually speaking and listening, instead of learning a whole bunch of grammatical rules. those will come in time and a lot more naturally once you are confident with the words and their meaning.

I went through a rigorous program in English Composition where I received my MA. Prior to that, I had several years of teaching experience as both a high school/middle school English and Social Studies. Later I taught 4 years of College English. Then I spent a couple of more years teaching high school English, in addition to spending one year tutoring students in SAT/Regents instruction. Upon my decision to return to college and obtain my BS degree, it was discovered that I possessed an uncanny, natural talent involving all aspects of the studies surrounding English. Reading, comprehension, symbolism, poetry, creative writing, poise, maturitym ,ect. After that placement exam, it was decided that I did not have to take any English courses, or, I would take more advanced courses. I did choose the latter. Throughout the last 10 years, I have helped my husband, brother, all of my children, etc. I have tutored them on how to write a well developed paper on their topic of choice, and have it read showing the expertise of the writer. I possess the same talents when it comes to proper grammar. I also teach Catholisim to the 8th grade once per week for 2 hours. I prepare them for the sacrament of confirmation.
