I am currently an university employed tutor in biology after attaining the highest possible scores in all general bio I, II and the corresponding laboratories as well as Primate Behavioral Ecology. My comments on tutoring Biology : Took AP bio in high school and passed with a good understanding of the various processes and structures of cells along with the other topics if basic biology.

I like students to understand how the material they are learning can and is being applied to everyday situations. So I often will talk about the big topics that have been covered explain why they are useful and then show the student how to perform various calculations or apply the nessecary logic to solve problems.

A Little Bit About Me...

I began teaching as a graduate teaching assistant for medical, dental and pharmacy students. In industry, I was an instructor to newly hired sales representatives and I taught microbiology at a local university. I also taught classes on bloodborne pathogens while working in industry, and after moving to NC I did substitute teaching for the local school system and I taught biology at a local community college for a summer semester.
