Rozelle-Anne Polydore hails from the twin island republic of Trinidad and Tobago. She left her homeland in 2007 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at Furman University, Greenville, South Carolina, where she double majored in Music and French. It is at Furman University that she had her first taste of teaching: she was Teaching Assistant for one semester and she tutored French in her spare time. During her time at Furman, Rozelle-Anne was privileged to be amongst 10 students selected to study abroad in France and it is where her love for French truly blossomed.
