A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my undergraduate studies at BYU, I taught and tutored in Spanish for up 24 hours each week. I supervised 5 districts of students, 10 teachers and up to 65 students at one time, while still teaching in the classroom. Additionally, I graded papers for college-level business courses for several years. As part of this experience, I provided feedback on writing, grammar, and content. I have now been a TA for more than 30 college business courses. I have finished all pre-medicine science classes with a science GPA of 3.3.
My teaching style is flexible depending upon the needs of my student(s). Some students have disabilities that make drilling or repetition styles of teaching and tutoring difficult and tiresome, while other thrive on it. I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Philosophy and BS in Horticulture Management. I also have two minors, Business and Logic. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant throughout my undergraduate education. I have presented my research at a conference in New York. Exceptional communicator with extensive professional experience training organizational representatives at various levels as well as volunteer experience mentoring at-risk youth.
