Some of my most rewarding times in life have been those when I help a student understand a concept that has bewildered him. I am usually able to find a unique way to make the student think about his learning. I try to teach to mastery. I don't believe efficient learning takes place in any discipline if one hasn't mastered some of the basic principles. I encourage exploration of alternative methods for problem solving.
