A Little Bit About Me...

I have had 4 years of teaching experience, of which the first years I subbed for the Turlock Unified School District in various grades. I was teaching and going to school to receive my teaching credential in math education. I can teach up to Geometry in highschool. I have passed the first two CSET tests for mathematics.
I believe student engagements is the key to learning. Hence I use various EDI strategies to ensure students are engaged in learning math concepts. I believe in group work and collaborations. I believe in modeling a math concept and right away checking for understanding. I currently have a BS in biology with a Minor in Chemistry and 2 concentrations. Earning this degree enabled me to not only study biology, but also allowed me to study mathematics.
