A Little Bit About Me...

I tutored high school students for the Alabama High School Exit Exam for 3 years. Every student I tutored increased their scores dramatically and all eventually passed the exam and received their high school diploma. I graduated from UAH in 2004, took another year of master's level courses to meet the requirements for the CPA exam and then decided to go from public to private sector accounting. I've worked full time as the company accountant for a locally owned business that has grossed over $25,000,000.00 in sales in one year.
I've found the different things work for different people and the key to being an effective tutor is finding what works for a particular student.

I have 40+ years of experience in the accounting field. The three certificates which I hold demonstrates the knowledge of the various aspects of the accounting filed. Most of my work experience has been in the governmental and non-profit areas. In 1992 and 1993 I taught an adult education course for Introduction to Accounting.
