I have tutored and educated staff to raise their knowledge and understanding in an effort to help them appreciate their role and the benefit of their effort toward the goals of the overall department and organization. It has been my privilege to work with many bright, wonderful people who often didn't know "why they were doing what they were doing" or how important their role/work was to the whole. As a manager, I knew/know that 'you can only be as good as your people'. I love to see people succeed and come to believe in themselves and their abilities. I just graduated from PLU with a degree in Business, a concentration in human resources, and a minor in psychology. I maintained a high GPA throughout my college experience and graduated with honors. I have very good study skills and am very organized. I took a variety of classes and excelled in writing papers and test preparation. I have never tutored children but have given children riding lessons and have helped 4-H children learn horsemanship skills. I consider myself very patient and a good teacher.
