Math and Business Tutor

I have completed all College level Math classes for an Electical Engineering degree. Math is my area of expertise. I believe in learning by doing. In order for information to be retained, but must be practiced. I am not one that will stand and lecture a student, but allow them to show my where they are at with their skills, and work together to improve them. The student will dictate the pace, but I will dictate the focus of each session, after an assessment. I think every child can improve their skills with the right practice, information and encouragement.

Currently and have been employed as an adjunct college professor. There I teach basic composition classes in both reading and writing. I graduated from Temple University in May of 2008 with my Bachelor's of Business Administration. I was a junior counselor at a Basketball Camp in the summer of 2007 as well. I am very comfortable around children and have tutored numerous neighborhood children in the past. I was a substitute teacher from 2007 to May of 2008 until I received my current job. I recently renewed my certification so that I can return to substitute teaching to move towards getting my teaching certificate.
