Learning's only effective if it's fun.

I have a goofy, hands-on style. I try to make it fun. I am very strict, however, when it comes to grammar, respect, and completing proposed tasks. Obviously I have different styles for adults and children. My lessons are always custom designed with the client in mind and age-appropriate. I have an arsenal of materials and activities which I constantly draw from. I aim for a balance between games of all sorts and drills/assessments. I have to be very flexible and creative while teaching, and I enjoy it very much.

A Little Bit About Me...

i have never taught professionaly, but have assisted fellow students. the methods i useed to help them were ither to incorporate the subject matter into a sumject that they had a personal interest in, or manny time i found that they just didnot understand the language of the subject so i reexplained it in simpler terms and they got it just fine.
Even as a student i helped my fellow students to understand and grasp the subjects they were having difficulty with. i can generaly spinn the information into a subject matter that interests the individual or just explain it in an easier to understand manner, offted they just get lolst in the language of teaching. i minnored in math, and majorred in science and agriculture in high school, ansd took veternary technology in colledge this involved mostly biologies and lab technigues.

Teaching young people and seeing them succeed is such a reward. Many students find the conventional school setting difficult and work with greater success in a one on one setting. Getting to know the student and his or her learning style along with some background enables a tutor to create an atmosphere where the student will be most successful. For as long as I can remember, I have been a natural teacher. My children say that I can never take them on an outing without making a "school" trip out of it. I love learning, and desire to share that excitement with others, to see them become life-long learners. I believe that all children can learn, although in different ways. Individualized learning and small group learning is what I enjoy most. I'm patient and work well with children.
