I learned sign language at the Md. school for the Deaf in Columbia Md. I started there out of high school and worked there for 5 years. I've also worked in the medical field as a surgical tech, and a phlebotomist . I've continued to work for people with special needs people., teaching swimming amd water safety. In the year 2013-2015 as a deaf interperter for an autistic -deaf student at a Co. high school. I try and take the subject and adapted to the students style of learning when ever possible.

I work on daily living skills, personal hygiene, physical activities, practice email, puzzles/games etc. I like to have a schedule written out so that the child knows what will be expected of him/her that day. I am very organized and like to complete tasks in a timely manner. I like to address all the questions the child may have during a lesson, I try to explain things in several different ways so that child will grasp the concept in a way that makes sense to him/her.

I graduated in 2008 and i have been tutoring for many years. I got my masters degree in tutoring in 2010 and have helped people who have a disability and they ended up getting 3 degrees. I have been to night school and Saturday school to teach me these things. I get personal lessons from a family member that has done way to many classes to learn this stuff.
