As a graduate in Accounting, I was given the tools to be able to teach and comprehend a lot of math skills. I was able to take both Business and Math Courses in college including: Business Management, Calculus, Business Accounting, and Algebra. During the last 4 years I have privately tutored students in math and 98% of them went from being F students to B-A students in both math and business courses.
I love to teach students of all ages. I love the looks on their faces when I help them get something that they never thought they would learn. I am very patient and love to show them a few short cuts on different things that way it makes it easier for them to learn and comprehend. The teachers and tutors of this country are the ones responsible of forming our children and make them ready for the real world and what they can do in it.

I attended college at Bloomsburg University and earned my BS in accounting, which is one of their few accredited and highly respectable programs. My cumulative GPA was 3.49 (on a 4.0 scale), and I received A's or B's in all accounting, auditing, and finance courses taken. My teaching experience consists of tutoring fellow classmates and group members when we regularly met to share information, though the majority of the time I found myself explaining these accounting concepts to others.
I am a calm and collected individual, and realize how long it took even myself to grasp some of the harder accounting theories. I have always placed a high value on education, and, having worked full time to put myself through college, have developed an even greater appreciation for students who have the desire to learn. During my undergraduate career, and upon the recommendation of several of my professors, I developed an informal study/tutoring program where classmates and I could get together to go over the week’s lecture and homework, as well as study for future exams. I felt a great sense of satisfaction any time a classmate was able to not only learn the material, but conceptually understand it. It is that experience that has guided not only my career, but also my current pursuit of my MBA. While I love my job, my goal is to enter in to education.
