Computer Programming Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Midway, KY

I've been programming with Scratch 2 for three years. Scratch 2 is a drag-and-drop programming language developed by MIT. You can do almost anything in Scratch 2, including Programming and Animation. I have even made 2D minecraft games on Scratch 2! I will be willing to teach you from 10 to 15 dollars an hour online.

By working with elementary students I have exhibited that I am capable of vast patience, so I am willing to work as long as the student would require. I teach every student different, so my initial goal would be to learn about the student and find out their favorite methods of instruction. Currently a student pursuing a Master's in Accounting and my CPA. I am a double major in Business Administration and Accounting from Transylvania University. I have worked with elementary aged students since I was about 16 years old and I have now progressed into tutoring high school and college students.

As a Purdue graduate, I was the recipient of the highest level of instruction in math and science. As an undergraduate I was named on the Dean’s list six times and was inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering. In order to be granted this degree I was required to gain a great understanding in many areas of math and science. In addition, I have been on the cutting edge of computer science from the first hand held calculators. I can program in FORTRAN, Assembly, Basic, Pascal, and C languages, on a variety of platforms. After working as an engineer for 20 years, I then pursued a teaching license and have taught High School math for the last decade. I enjoy teaching and working with all children. Not all of us can be the “Star Athlete”, but we can all learn the rules of the game. All children can learn.
