I can teach in a variety of ways. mainly by using ways to relate to the students understandings. I dont like the costant drilling techniques many people use. Some people learn more by constantly studying, while others study just enough to get an understanding. thats me. joined the army in 2002. served for over 9 years. Scored a 72 on my ASVAB,and 0ver 110 in all fields of the GT score. So i know a bit about everything that is asked of in the ASVAB test. Especially in the automotive and math sections. I have been teaching French to English-speaking people living in France since 1979. I have also been teaching English as a Second Language to French adults in a business environment and to high school/college students as well. I particularly enjoy tutoring reading and spelling to children K-12th Grade. However, since I have been residing in France for over 35 years, my speciality is also ESL and French to non-French speakers. My undergraduate degree was obtained at Agnes Scott College (Decatur, GA) and I went to France for my Junior Year Abroad. I am now moving back to the States (Savannah). I teach all levels in ESL and French. My teaching methods depend greatly on the students as every student has his or her own learning style! Enrolled in GED classes in late January 2011 and completed the courses within a week and took my GED 2 weeks later and passed in all fields with high scores or exceeding scores. Im 17 but willing to work hard and do everything I can to make sure the student passes and even exceeds on their GED. I have experience in GED classes and with the test since I have taken it and exceeded it recently.

I plan on majoring in Elementary Education in college, then going on to get my Masters in Education Administration. Am currently taking all honors or AP classes in my junior year of high school, with a 3.71 GPA. I had experience with working with children last summer, and also have my CPR and First Aid Certfications. I have learned overtime that children learn best with repitition and engagement. I will ask them a question, and if they get it wrong, we will come back to it until they know it very well.
