When teaching, I consider all learning modalities and styles. In my experience,visual and tactile approaches tend to have the highlest level of success. Technology such as learning games, computers, and etc. are useful tools in teaching. Hands on activites along with munipulatives and supplemental materials are excellent additions to validate that the skill or lesson taught is being comprehended.

A child’s musical development may require a bit more attention span, overcoming the frustration of failures of early technique abilities, mood swings and other areas.
