Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

I developed some tricks and techniques on my own which have really helped me in solving problems very fast. I will be happy to share some with the student if he/she is willing to learn. The student needs to be hard working because I am not there to give them a magic formula to solve problems. They will be able to learn to apply their analytical abilities and solve problems with proper reasoning. I have rarely used textbooks in Math, the only reason I used books was to find more problems to solve.

While in high school, I tutored another student for several months. On the California Achievement Test in Advanced Mathematics my score was 800. This qualified me for the advanced calculus course. In the third year of the course, things changed. We started from scratch, and learned point set topology as the basis for calculus. In the following two weeks, we proved half the theorems from the previous two years. While working for U.C. Davis, I volunteered to teach a course on computer programming, to eighth graders.
