I am a very thorough and detail-oriented person, as I do not like to take short cuts. I want my students to understand the topic and get to the root of the concept and then work on problems and questions.I would consult many books and prefer making notes and learn organic chemistry by writing equations. I teach for sucess. There are two components to it. The first is to get the fundamentals. The next step is to master the art of excelling in exams. I believe that many children get the first part but do not get help on the methodology to excel in exams.Yet there are others who do not get the fundamentals right and try to crack the exam code. I am also a poet and an inspirational and motivational speaker. I have written poems for my coworkers for twenty years at my employer. I would say that my style of teaching is creative. My teaching style is simple. I use want ever it takes to help a student learn. From using tradition teaching methods to implementing some of the newest and last popular fades as examples to drive home my point on a given topic. After graduating from Xavier University, while working on my MBA, I was an instructor and program manager for two pharmacy technician programs.
