My comments on tutoring Life Science : Experienced in teaching life science to several different levels. Have a strong grip on the natural surroundings and their effects on biological and physical interactions.

Since graduating from college I have been learning more and more about the natural world around us. I have spent time as a professional biologist performing a wide array of tasks that encompass chemistry and engineering with aspects to biological studies. Field Biology and Fisheries biology are my strongest suits, but I also have experience teaching Marine Biology to students visiting to the Florida Keys. I taught preschool for 5 years and had a home day care center for 4 years. I have worked as a paraprofessional at Springfield Elementary for the 3 years and was an after school tutor for the SES program for 2 terms for two different companies. Although I have not yet applied for certification, I am eligible for certification for Elementary Education as I have passed the FTCE K-6 certification exam.

After graduating college, I served in the US Army for six years as a Chemical Defense Officer. My primary duty was to ensure that all 17,000 soldiers in the 1st Cavalry Division were trained and equipped to properly deal with chemical and biological hazards. To effectively and efficiently complete this duty, I was constantly teaching, coaching and mentoring both fellow officers as well as enlisted soldiers.
