I have recently acquired a Master of Education degree in Education-a lifelong dream. I have taught in both private and public schools in grades PreK-6. I have tutored many students along the way-including summer school for struggling readers and writers. My most recent assignment was a permanent substitute position in the first grade. I am currently tutoring in ELL AND ALL ACADEMIC SUBJECTS. I have passed all the MTEL exams and have helped fellow colleagues with these exams. I also hold License to teach Special Needs.
I am a fan of Howard Gardner- I believe each student has his/her own learning style. Knowing these learning styles can help both teacher and student accomplish academic success. My comments on tutoring SAT - Verbal : I tutor all sections of the SAT test.

I am patient and supportive, but persistent. Each student's mind works differently, and I work tirelessly to find the best way to present material to every child or adult.
