I really like to have the student interact and do problems with me. I like to watch how their mind works on the problems. I also like to get a feel for how the student learns and try to shape my lessons around that.

A Little Bit About Me...

As an college graduate, I was passionate about helping others achieve and improving the world. I earned my BA in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural Drafting. Later, I enrolled in a MBA program but due to the economy, I lost my job which had an substantial effect on my educational quest. I have gained a broad range of math skills and writing skills throughout college, which has helped me tutor bilingual children over the past three years.
I have a deep understanding and zeal for helping people progress. I, too, came from underachieving communities but learned how to achieve because of teachers who had my best interest at stake. A Little Bit About Me...

I love to see children succeed. I am easy to get along with and happy to help you. I understand that not all students like math or understand it. My goal is to change my student’s outlook on mathematics by giving them a better base understanding of the subject. My favorite way to teach is through simple examples, especially an example already in the book that the student can reference to when I am not around. A good mathematical base can make a huge difference in an educational experience. I am trying to create that difference.

I have also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
