Professional but friendly English ESOL teacher

Teaching experience in class environments and one-to one is over 7 years. I'm one of those lucky ones who loves their profession! I'm a friendly but demanding tutor students feel comfortable to learn with. I also speak Russian, German, some Spanish and a little bit Italian. I tried a modern form of teaching in the beginning of 2011 - teaching online, it's very creative and convenient. If you live close, we can have lessons in person, at the library or at home.
Depending on the area we need to work, the focus of the lesson will vary, but more often my students need all four skills to develop (speaking, listening, writing and reading). Normally I will watch as the student works and when they get stuck is when I would help them. If they do not understand the material I will go back and teach it again. Once they seem to get it I would give one or two practice problems just to be sure they understand completely. I have no issues with repeating things multiple times if it means furthering the child's knowledge.
I have only ever tutored my neighbors two daughters. They both benefitted from it and both of the girls grades went up. Most of the time I would help them with math ,but would also help in any subject they needed, and they would work on their homework as I watched and guided them in the correct direction. English/Language Arts Tutor

While attending Texas Tech University I was employed by the Marsha Sharp Center for Student Athletes as a tutor and worked with athletes in the following subject areas: English, Spanish, Art History, History, and Political Science.
