I enjoy being around kids, but I prefer to working with only one or two children in a learning environment. I am very patient but I enforce that the objective is to learn and be proud of his/her success. I try to teach in a step-by-step method. Knowing that each person is different and learns at different rates, I start out at mid-level and spend more or less time on the topic(explaining, writing note-cards, drawing diagrams, and asking them to repeat methods) based on their understanding. If a student is severely struggling, I will to contact his/her teacher so I can plan sessions appropriately so the student doesn't fall behind.

I have been taking math classes since my freshman year in high school. Math is by far my favorite subject. I have taken everything from pre-algebra to calculus, including Statistics. I am currently working as a Mechincal Engineer and would love to assist others with their math needs.
