A Little Bit About Me...
Tutoring has taught me that perseverance and patience are the keys to tackling tough situations, and I try to pass that along to others. I am very versatile when it comes to teaching various age groups. I try to keep my sessions exciting, but focused and instructional. I teach to each to the unique style of the individual student and when instructing a medium to large group, I adjust to the majority learning style;moreover,"no student is left behind."
It is my belief that I do not truly master subjects until I can teach it to others. Thus, I view tutoring as an essential component of the learning process. With respect to my tenure as a tutor in the community of Tuskegee, Alabama and on-campus,this has certainly been the case.
