A Little Bit About Me...

I have over 13 years of tutor experience working with young and adult students. I have a BA in Criminal Justice this degree has helped me relate and better assist my students during our tutoring sessions. I enjoy reading and writing. In the past I have tutored students individually and in small groups of 3 to 4 to help them develop their basic reading, writing and study skills. I have also tutored young and adult students in preparation for exams like the PSAT SAT, ACT, GED, GRE and GMAT.
I enjoy teaching students of all ages.I do not have a set teaching style. I use several methods during our tutoring sessions. I love teaching children and adults alike. I beleive teaching should be tailored to each individual, because we are all different and learn at a different pace. I also beleive that you should make your teaching relatable to the subject if interest of the student.If a student has a passion for mussic try to use that as an avenue for your lessons,once they are engaged in something they are passionate about it would make learning even more fun.
I have earned a Master in Management and an Undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing and International Business. I am also bilingual and fluently speak french. My work experience coupled with my educational background would make me a valuable tutor to any student needing my help.
