I have always believed that a good teacher is the best tool to help students learn. Having personal experience with learning disabilities, I do not think that they prevent anyone from learning; rather, they provide students with a better understanding of themselves. Realizing that we all learn differently, I believe that teaching should incorporate multiple methods of presentation. I have a lot of experience working with all ages of children. As a teacher, I try to maintain a respectful but friendly dialogue with the student.
