I'm a fifth-teen year old, currently enrolled at Thomas J. Corcoran High School, where I am a sophomore I currently take IB classes and wanted to start tutoring to pass the time and pick up a little extra cash. I'm drug free and have never tasted alcohol. I try to be patient and usually am. I'd prefer to work with children still in elementary or middle school, seeing as I haven't learned everything yet. I know the basic and more to just about everything eighth grade and below. Everyone absorbs knowledge differently so it is important to cater to each student's particular needs. I am a very hands-on learner and I feel that is the best way to be taught, especially outside of a classroom setting. By getting the body involved in the learning process, the mind is kept stimulated.
I have helped tutor since I was a freshman in high school. I began working with kindergarteners through third grade students on reading and writing. Genetics is one of my top subjects! I have just completed a PhD in genetics (specifically plant genetics) and I was a TA for Cornell's Introduction to Genetics class for 8 semesters

Though my experience is mostly in molecular biology, it can be expanded to general life sciences.
