I am a big believer in explaining concepts repeatedly until a student understands so I have a lot of patience. You need to with math. I remember how it was learning all those concepts for the first time. I try to use steps as much as possible so my students always feel like they have a way to get to their destination from any point in a problem. Beyond that there's not to much to say. I'm a firm believer that a person does not truly understand a concept until they have practiced doing problems over and over.

My comments on tutoring Composition : I have at least ten years experience of teaching and/or tutoring one-on-one in English. As a public speaker, I promote self-esteem and confidence!
