I've tutored a 3rd grader for about 2 years and helped him in grammar, reading, and math during my early high school years. I saw that his study skills improved a lot while his reading skills have become more efficient from before. He always finished his homework on time and that made him and his parents extremely happy because he was able to go play after his homework was done and his parents were happy that he was finally getting help on school subjects that he didn't understand. I then tutored a college student during that summer, teaching him the daily use of cantonese and english when he was a mandarin speaker. He interpreted quite quickly over that one summer and he was able to use those two languages more efficiently and grammatically correctly after his sessions with me.
