My style of teaching asks the student to do his or her best and will help them find that level in a fun and friendly manner. I am patient and understanding and believe that with a joke and a laugh, learning can truly be gained and cherished...not drudgery! We will have fun and get the job done!! I as ordained a Priest in 2004 but have twenty years of teaching from vocal/piano to languages. I am finishing up my Bachelors degree in Dietetics at SUNY Oneonta- I will be graduated in December. I have been offered positions as a chemistry tutor but denied because of my other jobs. I was a student mentor for a year in high school to students that were "slacking" or wasn't understanding one or more of their classes. I worked at Albany ARC and worked to train young adults and adults in the kitchen- which also included basic skills such as counting and reading. I love working with children. I was involved in girl scouts from first grade all the way to 12th grade and in those years I learned a lot of leadership skills.
