I am a few years out of high school, and I've taken several college classes. My AP knowledge spans almost every subject. I can help with almost all high school level classes and below. The various sciences are probably my best subjects, however my knowledge of Biology is fairly limited. I have tutored a few High School Freshman before in a program called "Senior Mentoring" I have also helped out a few family friends to get the grade to graduate. This really depends on the subject, however, I like to do drills to keep basic skills sharp, and to learn new skills. Each student is different, and will need slightly adjusted methodology. I'm also very open to suggestion.

I strongly believe that education matters. It is important for all students who want to be successful in life. I am also aware that education comes in many different forms. My teaching style is very simple and effective. I start with Technique. I believe that it is the best interest of a student’s success to learn about the instrument before learning how to play it. Then, I incorporate Basic Theory. It is also important for a student to understand why they are playing and how music flows together. My students then begin to learn the major fundamentals of the Bass; Groove, Feel, and how to be a leader. They will also learn how to write their own music, and if they desire how to read and notate. Music Theory is a big part of my curriculum. I feel it is the most important skill to understand what you are playing and why. I encourage the students at any time can bring in their own material to learn.
