I have mentored various people since 2000, in all types of subjects, including math, science, social sciences, English, writing, literature, and other related subjects. I enjoy seeing children learn new things. I know that every child learns differently. It is important to get to know the children that you are teaching and figure out what teaching technique fits there needs. I feel like I do an excellent job of portraying what I am trying to teach.
I have always loved children. Children are precious and all have very unique learning techniques. When I was a senior at Maryville High School, I taught Spanish to first graders. My partner and I were in charge of making lesson plans and fulfilling these plans for each class. I really enjoyed seeing the children get excited about learning.

I believe learning is about confidence. I have seen numerous students doing poorly in courses because they were convinced that they were not capable of learning the subject matter. Small successes help to build confidence in order to move on to the subsequent challenges. I believe in starting with the basics, and making sure that the students truly grasps the subject matter before moving to more difficult concepts.
