New Experiences New Knowledge

My teaching style is to meet the student and learn his or her personality. Each student is a different individual with different learning styles. When you can incorporate the perfect learning style with each individual to match his or her own interests, the student will actually learn and retain the knew information.
I have enjoyed life to the fullest and in the same sense gained most of my experience from enjoying the companies of others. I have traveled and lived in other countries. What I get most out of life is the experience and new opportunities presented to us daily. Each person is different and each life is played out in a different manner. NSF Detroit Area Precollege Engineering Program in Wireless Integrated Microsystems (Program Director): Developed and instructed curriculum for a 5-week camp to teach precollege students topics in wireless communication, microfabrication and computer engineering. In an innovate approach, I developed a curriculum that used Lego robotics to teach students about digital circuits, physics, and algebra. IBM Camp for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (Instructor): Developed and instructed curriculum for a two week camp to teach deaf and hard of hearing female middle school students topics in Chemistry. A Little Bit About Me...

I have an engineering background with a BS and Masters degree in Electrical Engineering. An engineering degree requires a significant background in math and science. While in college I had such a love for math that I took math classes as electives and became a math tutor for college math. My most recent experience is that of an Instructor in math and science.
I convey to each student a never give up attitude and show confidence in their ability to understand the material. Each problem will be explained to the student and I will encourage every student to ask questions. After the student gains confidence in working problems together then I will have the student work a similar problem by themselves to confirm their level of understanding. After the student works the problem I will go over it and correct any mistakes in their work .
