I am currently attending West Virginia University to attain my Masters Degree in Human Nutrition. With all of my experience and education, I have had the opportunity to work with all facets of children; from those who require a great deal of help, to those who might just need a little more challenge then what their work was providing them. Having worked with large and diverse groups of children I have assisted in English, math, science, and social studies from grade school to high school. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelors Degree in General Studies from the University of Maryland which includes two concentrations: Second Language Spanish, and Human Development. I have tutored three individuals over the past five years. The first was a 3rd grader in reading and comprehension. The second student was a tenth grader in grammar and composition. And more recently, I tutored a seventh grader in second language Spanish. I have gotten good results with my students. I have been substitute teaching at Frederick County Public Schools this past semester. For two years, I taught high school Spanish in a private school.

I have an undergraduate degree in physics (B.S.) and graduate degree in electrical engineering (M.S.). I have tutored in physics, chemistry and math before while in school. I have been able to start outreach programs with peers to help kids in under-served areas of Washington DC teaching physics through use of music. I have also participated in Johns Hopkins CTY summer youth program tutoring top percentage of high school students around the country and Central America in biomedical sciences.
