I am a very patient teacher. If it seems someone is 'just not getting it' I will try a different approach. People learn at different levels, and what works for one does not always work for another; therefore,finding the way for each individual student is the key. I have also found that most people learn a task by 'hands on' learning, not listening to how it should be done. In this situation, giving someone the tools to do the work themselves gives them the confidence to do it, and feel good about conquering the challenge.

A Little Bit About Me...

Since graduating from Missouri State in the fall of 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish education I have been substituting with Sparta schools and Republic schools. I have also been tutoring a student in Spanish. I completed my student teaching in the fall of 2009 with Ozark High School and Springfield Catholic School. Before then I spent several years working with kids at book festivals and in Mexico through Second Baptist Church. I also tutored special needs children at Ozark North Elementary during my high school years. Besides my Bachelor's degree I will also be certified to teach English to speaker's of other languages at the end of the spring 2010 semester.
