Through my educational studies and life experiences I have gained a firm grasp and appreciation for Mandarin Chinese and Chinese culture. Mandarin Chinese - I use Total Physical Response Teaching (TPRS) when teaching elementary aged novice learners, which teaches Chinese as well as American Sign Language. My tutoring goal is to work myself out of my job. In other words, I am trying to help each student learn the subject so that he or she will succeed in the future with less outside help.
