The beginning of everything, I've got three younger sisters and there has always been a fair amount of helping out where they're concerned. Chinese, Guitar, History Tutor in Bay Area Seeks Students

Mandarin Chinese - I use Total Physical Response Teaching (TPRS) when teaching elementary aged novice learners, which teaches Chinese as well as American Sign Language. History - I teach history using the many multi-media databases that I subscribe to each month. Musical instruments - patience and hands on. I ask the student what song they want to learn and start learning the first lesson.
Through my educational studies and life experiences I have gained a firm grasp and appreciation for Mandarin Chinese and Chinese culture. After college, I reinforced my knowledge with informal studies in US, Asian, European and Islamic history. From 2005 to 2008 I taught US History classes at St. John's Orthodox Academy in San Francisco to middle and high school students.
