I am in my third year at Ball State University. As a Director of Finance, I worked with people with disabilities for more than twenty years. I was required administrative staff to interact with the people with disabilities. My interactive duties were to relieve direct program staff for lunch. I came to know the population as people with personalities and souls. I learned more from them than they did from me. As Executive Director of a not-for-profit, I worked with inner-city youth of Indianapolis for ten years.
