Life Science is one of my top subjects! Certified biology teacher with dual degrees in secondary education - biology and in animal science /. Pre-veterinary medicine. My comments on tutoring Life Science : My education includes two degrees in the life sciences. My first one was animal science / pre-veterinary medicine. The second was secondary education with an emphasis in biology. I teach biology and have had plenty of experience in many of the biologically based sciences like ecology, genetics, and anatomy and physiology.

Bachelor's in secondary education with certification in biology. Bachelor's in animal science / pre-veterinary medicine. Taught general science to 7th and 8th graders for a year. I am a certified modeling teacher. Modeling is a "hands on" inquiry based style of teaching. I teach through allowing the students to deal with a given problem or scenario. I then use extensive amount of questioning to help the child to use their logic to solve the problem. A Little Bit About Me...

I like to work one-on-one with students. I can get a better feel for their learning style and therefore teach for that specific student. I like to teach by relating the subject to real life situations. All students can learn anything, it just sometimes takes a more personal approach before it really clicks. That is what I want to provide for a student.
I graduated Cum Laude from Ball State with a double major in Visual Communication and Genetics. Both my parents were teachers and I often tutored my friends.
