I have always been excited to help others succeed. I have a young daughter myself, so I am very interested in early childhood development. I fully comprehend that there are many different learning styles and am capable of adapting my teaching methods to meet those of you or your child.
I have been out of college, working in the IT industry for about 8 years now. While in college, I tutored fellow students in the school's lab in the subjects of English and Mathematics. Take the child's level and increase them higher. Using whatever mode necessary. Hands on exsperience is usually the best. Various types of learning styles are incorporated. Modivation is very important. Self esteem is very important. The final outcome of a educated student is a well rounded and sucessful person.

I recognize that each student learns differently. It is important to me to assses the style that is best for the student. I will always differentiate the way I teach to the benefit of the pupil. If a student needs more visual aid and description, that is how I will teach them. If a different student needs manipulatives or prefers auditory lessons, I will provide that for them. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored elementary students during my tenure in the Air Force on a volunterr basis. I worked as a Introduction to Computers instructor at Keiser College for two semesters. I have a fascination with math and numbers. My extensive experience with budgeting and using spreadsheets and formulas has kept me fresh with my math skills. I recently tutored a 50+ adult to take a math skills test for the CRC. He passed, and was had such a sense of accomplishment, after almost giving up hope that he could pass it.
I love to learn, and love passing that on to others. I am a patient personality, and I may present a problem to a student to evaluate where they are. In mathematics as many other endeavors, it is how we proceed to a goal that is important, not the goal itself. Since undergraduate work, I have worked in the business world, primarily in the manufacturing arena. My academic experiences have continued on some level.
