I just graduated with a BA in Psychology and are two courses short of a minor in Spanish and Sociology. I've always been very strong in the English/Language Arts/Writing areas as well. I am currently a certified substitute teacher and also already do some elementary tutoring. Some of my previous tutoring experience include writing, some psychological statistics and some basic math/language skills.
I love to teach and help others in general. I always had difficulty when I was younger finding a tutor or some help in my studies that I could understand easily. I am a very patient and have a great sense of humor that come in handy during subjects of frustration. I believe if you can bring a child into their comfort zone and put the directions in the most simple fashion, a child can learn anything! I'd love to turn a subject they avoid into a subject to brag about...

I have been a substitute teacher for grades K through 6th. for the past 20 years and have loved the diversification it has offered . I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in May 2005, from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. I have excellent communications skills, and a very strong teaching /and/ Computer background. I have a remarkable ability to inspire and work with others. Many of my students are from different countries, and struggle with the English language. I presently teach Poker dealers. I do not let this hinder them, or me. I simply teach them enough English to increase their confidence to complete my class. In return, most will send their relatives to my class, because they found that I communicate well with others, no matter what their background.
