My comments on tutoring Vocals : I have been a vocal coach since the 1990's and have helped students get ready to star in their HS musicals, do a great job with an audition for a special group, get ready to sing in a recital, sing a solo for a Christmas program, and just get their voices properly trained through popular, religious, movie, musical, jazz standards, folk and country and even Italian arias. I use excellent methods not known to all and have had excellent success at voice training.

I have taught PK- Exceptional student education for 10 years, K-12 music for 15 years, private piano for 25 years, private guitar for 10 years, private voice for 10 years and have also taught regular kindergarten, first grade and 6th grade, I am teaching Spanish now and I am bilingual (reading, writing and speaking). I have lived and taught school in Wisconsin, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Honduras, Guatemala, Bolivia and Florida, in that order. i have also written music curriculums, and curriculum for teaching preschool multihandicapped children, and have been a home visitor for severely multihandicapped infants and preschoolers. I've been a teacher's unofficial little helper since I was in Elementary, helping the students of my class that the teacher simply didn't have the extra time to help. From then on, I helped and even eventually taught my younger siblings when the current school system left them in the dust, and even helped them get a leg up and advance faster than their classmates. I've tutored a few younger kids in various subjects in my high school years, as well as occasionally teaching Taekwondo classes.
My teaching style is flexible, tailored to the specific needs of the student in question. Everybody learns differently and at different paces!

A Little Bit About Me...

As a civil engineer, I have taught math as a tutor at New American English School in Haiti for two years. Since I came here, I worked as a tutor at baron collier for a particular program for two years. I think that math is my domain I can definitly help anyone even at college level.
I love teaching math because it is my passion. It is part of my life. Even though people have different potential to learn but I always find a way to adapt my teaching to anyone. As a plus, I am able to inter individual life to help people understand that there is nothing difficult in math.

Being aware of my compassion to help children succeed, earned my PA teaching certification after graduating high school. During college I received special recognition for volunteer services affiliated with tutoring at a "homework clinic" located inner city. All my life I have worked/volunteered assisting children in some capacity or another It simply is part of who I am.

Since 2nd grade, when my teacher sat me next to a 10-year old boy with Cerebral Palsy, it seems I have been called upon to instruct others. I tutored our high school rockstar drummer in French so he could graduate. In college I taught 3- and 4-year olds, learning as much from them, as about them. In the Army, as an instructor and Executive Officer, those child development principles and skills were frequently handy and surprisingly adaptive with young adults, and a few senior cadre. Lifelong learning has kept me fresh in a long clinical career, which is now winding down and transforming into something new. Tutoring seems like the logical next step for me.
