My comments on tutoring Guitar : I have played guitar for over 30 years, can teach First Year guitar with high proficiency and get you started with second year guitar. I teach you how to read the guitar music (not just tabs). I am comfortable teaching 6year olds to adult on guitar.

I have taught PK- Exceptional student education for 10 years, K-12 music for 15 years, private piano for 25 years, private guitar for 10 years, private voice for 10 years and have also taught regular kindergarten, first grade and 6th grade, I am teaching Spanish now and I am bilingual (reading, writing and speaking). I have lived and taught school in Wisconsin, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Honduras, Guatemala, Bolivia and Florida, in that order. i have also written music curriculums, and curriculum for teaching preschool multihandicapped children, and have been a home visitor for severely multihandicapped infants and preschoolers. I love teaching math because it is my passion. It is part of my life. Even though people have different potential to learn but I always find a way to adapt my teaching to anyone. As a plus, I am able to inter individual life to help people understand that there is nothing difficult in math.
As a civil engineer, I have taught math as a tutor at New American English School in Haiti for two years. Since I came here, I worked as a tutor at baron collier for a particular program for two years. I think that math is my domain I can definitly help anyone even at college level.

I am a local professional with sixteen years of experiences in the Human Services field, most of those years in state and county government focusing on the protection of vulnerable populations. My other field of study in college was writing and I have strong grammar and vocabulary skills. I have edited medical research articles for several companies, edited newspaper articles, and I had a year of tutoring SAT prep courses through the Princeton Review.
My teaching style is focussed but relaxed and tends to incorporate real life and current events into the experience in order to provide a point of reference for the child. Mutual respect and effective communication of goals and expectations from both parties is an essential.
