I am a firm believer that every student given an opportunity has the ability to learn. They also must be given an opportunity to learn in the style in which they learn the best, be it visual, auditory or hands-on. I believe and practice a constructivist model of learning. I see multicultural education as a way of reaching all students so that they have an equal opportunity to learn. Students in the future must be prepared for a world job market and tutoring can provide these children with a great opportunity to enhance their skills.
I have a BA degree from the University of Central Florida in Education and a current Florida Teaching Certificate. I have taught high school for 18 years before relocating.
