I am passionate about chemistry and history, and I always enjoy helping students in these fields. I enjoy hands-on teaching and one-on-one interaction with students. Good writing can simplify the thought process, and leads to students becoming better thinkers and communicators. I am easy-going and patient, but I take language and writing very seriously. I achieved an English degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where my senior thesis was selected as a finalist for the UW Creative Writing prize. I have been learning everyday of my life, because there is always something new to learn. Life teaches many lessons but what I have come to learn is that education is very valuable. While going to college at the UW – Eau Claire, I've been a math and statistics tutor for the past four years. I've also been a Teacher’s Assistant for a statistics Professor where my duties consisted of running review sessions for the class before quizzes and exams along with grading homework and exams. I have completed four statistics courses dealing with different areas of statistics. I also have experience in one-on-one tutoring. As a graduate of the top chiropractic school in the world, I have achieved a high level of education. I have a bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Through out the years I have taught 5-8th graders in various subjects, as well as helped teach for a national board review company to chiropractic students all over the country in a variety of topics. I was also the editor-in-chief for the Palmer Triune, helping me obtain an excellent understanding and appreciation for the English language.
My teaching style is different for each student. I have never considered myself a student that things come easy to.
