A Little Bit About Me...

I am very patient and detailed teacher. I go step by step when trying to teach a child how to do something. I don't skip steps. If they still don't understand, I don't go on to the next part of the lesson. I make sure they know and understand how to do the first part before I go onto the second part. Also I make things as simple as possible, complexing a subject doesn't do any good when it comes to teaching.
I worked as an assistant preschool teacher for a little over 2 years.I worked with two year olds mostly, but the children ranged from infants to K level. I was responsible for supervising and assisting in teaching a classroom of 20 two year olds.

I graduated with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. During my college experience at the University of Arizona, I have participated in two programs that allowed me to teach a wide variety of students of different backgrounds and different ages. I have worked with children as young as four years to 16 years of age. I taught Science-based lessons (Entomology and Marine Discovery). Also,I have tutored high school students in English and different levels of Math. I'm really happy that I chose teaching as my life-long profession.
